Water watchdog wants to hear from consumers at its next meeting in Wrexham
EFFORTS to tackle sewer flooding and water discoloration issues, as well as the process of setting water prices for the next five years, will come under the spotlight at the next Welsh Committee meeting of the Consumer Council for Water (CCWater) in public.
The water watchdog is encouraging water consumers to join a discussion about some of the key issues affecting their water and sewerage services on Tuesday, April 8 from 10.30am at the Glyndŵr University Racecourse Stadium, Wrexham, LL11 2AH.
At the beginning of the meeting representatives from Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and Dee Valley Water will be on hand to respond to customers’ and CCWater’s questions about their services.
Diane McCrea, Chair of the Wales Committee of CCWater said:
These meetings discuss the performance of water companies in Wales on water and services provision and handling of complaints. Our meetings are a good platform for customers to put their questions to the water companies, so we would really encourage people to come and make their voice heard. It’s also a very important time for the industry with water prices soon to be set for the next five years and people can find out more about how things are taking shape.
Attendees who would prefer to speak in Welsh are encouraged to do so, but please let CCWater know ahead of time so that we can provide translation.
