Compensation for sewer flooding
A water consumer with a young family faced repeated sewer flooding, leaving them without basic facilities. Despite multiple calls to the company, the issue wasn’t fixed, and they received poor customer service.
Initially, the company offered £303.00 in compensation, but the customer requested £695.00 to cover the stress and inconvenience.
The customer then turned to CCW for help. Through our mediation with the company, the offer was increased to £620.00. The customer accepted this without the need for further action and the issue was quickly resolved.
